Wanda has successfully led development and advancement teams in nonprofit and university settings and as a chartered advisor in philanthropy (CAP®) she has advised individuals on transformative philanthropic giving. Wanda has a successful track-record of partnering with boards and leadership on fund development and governance. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her clients.
Throughout Wanda’s career, she developed and implemented strategic plans to accelerate institutional growth and sustainability. Working within major national and regional organizations, Wanda has established major gifts programs, led corporate giving programs, managed development teams and operations, fundraised for capital and comprehensive campaigns and led organizations into creating a culture of philanthropy.
Wanda is a dedicated advocate for fundraising professionals. Through her consulting business, she hopes to inspire staff and boards to embrace a positive outlook about fundraising. Her passion for supporting professionals in fundraising is the catalyst for starting her business and joining national and local efforts to strengthen the fundraising field.
Wanda is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and loves all things Frida Kahlo, 80s music, traveling, and hiking. Her happy place is anywhere on the coastline of Point Reyes National Seashore. Wanda is currently conducting business as a digital nomad traveling the world.
